About Me

Playing the violin on the street strengthened Geedah’s musical ear and artistic expression. It’s because of street performing that just about every one of her performances are done without sheet music because she’s able to play by ear and memory. As she began college, the violin was something that remained a constant in Geedah’s life. When her friend moved away and started college in a different city, Geedah began her solo career shortly thereafter.

Geedah attended the dual enrollment program at Community College of Philadelphia and completed her studies in Public Relations at Temple University. During these years, Geedah was still making headway as a solo artist, which led to her decision to not pursue violin during her college career but she does aspire to go back to school and study violin, now that it plays such a major part in who she is today.
Studying violin was something Geedah did out of curiosity and it blossomed into something beyond her wildest dreams. She is a multi-talented artist who continues her own personal studies in dance and esthetics.
